La Fundación Solidaridad por Colombia se ha asociado con la marca mundial de
calzado Skechers, la compañía de la tecnología y comodidad, en su compromiso
permanente con la educación y el bienestar de niños, adolescentes y adultos
mayores. Skechers ha entregado exitosamente 1.152 pares de tenis a la fundación, los
cuales fueron entregados a comunidades vulnerables de Bogotá, Medellín y Córdoba.
Inicialmente, 356 pares de tenis fueron entregados en el barrio María Paz de Kennedy,
Bogotá. Los beneficiarios fueron niños de 6 a 12 años del programa Semillitas Solidarias,
jóvenes de 12 a 18 años del programa Jóvenes Solidarios, estudiantes del programa de
becas universitarias Diana Turbay, así como adultos mayores y sus familias que
participan en los programas de la Fundación.
Luego, en la Comuna 8 de Medellín, se entregaron 166 pares. Estos fueron distribuidos
a niños del programa Semillitas Solidarias, jóvenes del programa Jóvenes Solidarios y
adultos mayores del Club de Viejos Jóvenes.
En Córdoba, la entrega se realizó en Cereté, San Pelayo, San Bernardo del Viento y
Lorica, donde se hizo entrega de 630 pares a jóvenes del programa Jóvenes Solidarios
y estudiantes del programa de becas universitarias Diana Turbay.
Este esfuerzo conjunto entre Skechers y la Fundación Solidaridad por Colombia no solo
busca brindar bienestar, sino que, además, busca contribuir al desarrollo integral de
estas comunidades, brindando a niños, jóvenes y adultos mayores la oportunidad de
mejorar sus actividades de vida con zapatos cómodos.
